It might seem obvious. And, as we spend 90% of our time indoors, the question of clean air is even more important whether that be in our homes, offices, schools, health centres and so on. As new parts of the world get richer, more and more people are moving into cities. The World Health Organisation (WHO) estimates that two million people die every year from small particulate matter in the air. Other health problems are coming to light.

For instance, a recent study showed a association between higher levels of particulate air pollution and higher numbers of babies born with low birth weights.

JKF Industri Sdn. Bhd was established in Malaysia back in 1995. It was formed as a subsidiary to JKF that was founded by master smith Louis Nielsen in 1957. The original name of it was ”Jysk Knæ- og Pladerørsfabrik”, but on account of increasing export sales, the name was changed to the more customer friendly name of JKF Industri A/S in 1982. In 2014 the name was changed again to the easier name of JKF wherever we are in the world.

The Danish factory site and head office of the group today cover over 25.000 m² of up-to-date and modern administration, development and production facilities. JKF has manufacturing plants at its subsidiaries in Malaysia and Poland as well as sales subsidiaries in the Philippines, Indonesia and Singapore.

• The Woodworking Industry

JKF is responsible for more than 4000 installations in the woodworking industry. As co-operation partners they are, just like us, dedicated to clean air and have a large and thorough knowledge of the local conditions. Most of them have long-standing relations with JKF and are daily drawing on our advice, expertise and know-how to ensure the most optimum solution both environmentally, technically and economically.

• The Agro & Milling Industry

The agro and milling industry was one of the first industries that JKF was involved in when it first started its operations.

Today, having grown in terms of technological advances and advancements, the agro and milling industry is still a very significant customer segment where we supply complete series of high quality components for process extraction which include filters, cyclones, rotary valves, stainless ducts, standard ducts, fans, special products and accessories.
